The Villa at Jordan Wine Estate, in Stellenbosch, is the ultimate Winelands retreat. It is the perfect addition to the Estate’s accommodation offering, providing guests with luxury and attention to detail, complemented by breathtaking views.
The Villa at Jordan Wine Estate
Grant and I were fortunate to spend a night at The Villa at Jordan Wine Estate recently, and it was an incredible experience! The moment we arrived, there was a distinct feeling of peace and tranquillity.
The stunning east-facing property, built to take full advantage of the spectacular panoramic views, is shielded from the False Bay breezes by a forested hillside.
Beautifully decorated in a contemporary farmhouse feel, the interiors reflect a style synonymous with the Jordan family and its founders, Ted and Sheelagh Jordan.
Accommodation & Amenties
The Villa’s five large, elegantly furnished bedrooms offer a sense of space and comfort. With ample cupboard space, plush bedding, and large windows that frame stunning views, these bedrooms are a sanctuary of luxury. The spacious en-suite bathrooms, equipped with modern amenities, ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience.
Grant and I stayed upstairs in a stunning corner room, with breathtaking views of the Nine Yards vineyard and Stellenbosch Mountains.
One of the highlights of the Villa is the outdoor patio and pool area, where guests can unwind with a glass of wine or a G&T while soaking up the sun and enjoying the stunning views. Here, time seems to stand still as the beauty of nature becomes the main attraction.
Wining & Dining
If you love entertaining as much as I do, you cannot help but fall in love with the large open-plan kitchen and dining area. It is ideal for hosting gatherings and special occasions with family and friends.
The Villa kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. However, if you do not wish to cook but would still like to dine in, you can book a private dinner prepared and served by Chef Marthinus Ferreira from The Jordan Restaurant. Alternatively, you can pre-order a dinner basket prepared by Cellar Door Restaurant.
There is also the option of booking a private wine tasting at the Villa with the winemaker or a fun Wine Tasting Safari.
Guests can also book a table for lunch or dinner at The Jordan Restaurant. For a more relaxed dining experience, The Cellar Door is open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Sunday.
In Closing
Our stay at The Villa at Jordan Wine Estate was an unforgettable experience filled with luxury, serenity, and spectacular views. Every aspect of the Villa exuded comfort and elegance, from the beautifully designed bedrooms to the inviting outdoor patio and pool area. The option to enjoy private dining experiences and wine tastings added an extra layer of exclusivity to our stay. We highly recommend this Winelands retreat for anyone seeking a tranquil and indulgent escape in Stellenbosch.
