My eyes are extremely light-sensitive, so wearing Sunglasses is a must for me. I have owned many pairs over the years, from super expensive brands to rather inexpensive ones. Of late other priorities have meant that a new pair of sunnies is quite far down the list. Needless to say, when Slaughter & Fox approached me to try out a pair of their sunglasses, I was not going to turn down the offer!
Slaughter & Fox Eyewear
Let’s face it, a good pair of sunglasses is not cheap, and I am the worst when it comes to taking care of my glasses. Often they end up at the bottom of my handbag and get badly scratched.
So, for me, spending a significant amount of money on glasses often seems unwarranted. Fortunately, Slaughter & Fox offer a premium product, at an affordable price, ranging from R799. A few of the designs are quite funky, but there are classic styles for the more conservative souls. Each style is named after a district in New York, which is where they were designed.
Flower District
When selecting sunglasses, I am usually quite fussy, which is why buying them online was a bit worrying. Slaughter & Fox, however, give you accurate sizing of each style, as well as detailed images of each pair, to help you make your choice. After browsing the Slaughter & Fox Website, I managed to narrow down the style. The pair I selected is “Flower District”, which is available in three colour variations, I opted for black as it is classic and will go with most outfits.
The frame style is chic and feminine, which celebrates meaningful craftsmanship and embraces sophisticated, dramatic beauty.
As well as being super stylish my Flower District glasses have polarized lenses, which is of particular importance, having light sensitive eyes, as it reduces the glare.
I have been thrilled with my new sunglasses and have been making an extra effort to look after them!
