I am proud to be a woman because woman are by nature more gentle and emotional. I love that its ok to express what I’m feeling and to have a whole range of emotions at just one time. I love that I can cry in movies when I find them sad and I can be silly and goofy with my kids when I want to be. I am proud that I carried two beautiful babies inside me and was able to form a bond with my kids before they were even born. To feel your baby move inside you in an indescribable feeling.. I’m so proud that as a woman I was able to experience it.. A woman is nurturing and loving..gentle and kind.. there are so many wonderful words to describe woman.. im proud to be one!

I am proud to be woman because it means that we are able to conceive, carry, and give birth to — or adopt and mother as your own — another human life. It’s pretty awe-inspiring and incredible to think about what we, as women, are capable of!
Wendy says
I think being a woman today is a very challenging role. Not only do you have an obligation as a wife, mother, staff member and friend, you also need to show the hard world the softer side. It’s sad that so many women are marginalised and abused, but we can change this if we stand together and fight together to rid society (and the world) of discrimination and the horrific criminal acts against women and children. I am proud to be a woman and I’m honoured to be a part of the Women of the World.
