I am so enriched and continually amazed at the fabulous girlfriends I have who are all from the most diverse of backgrounds – from Soweto to Mitchells plain, from Pretoria to Constantia, from priviledged backgrounds, from backgrounds where there were no excess funds for further study – we have all prospered and succeeded in our own way, we are incredible women, we find strength in one another and we all support each other through life, love, heartache, family problems, financial problems. I don’t believe that anywhere else on this plant, I would find a simlar bunch of gorgoeus, life-loving, strong women – thank you my girlfriends – you make me a better person and I couldn’t imagine my life without you – and each one of us is a truely Proud South African Woman.
Tamlyn Dollie (@TammyDollie) says
I am proudly South African because i can walk with my head high knowing that in this great land we call home, you are not defined by the colour of your skin or your bank ballance. It’s been said before that when people (especially) celebs visit the mother land they feel welcome because South Africans have an open hand and accepting personality. We see beyond what’s on the surface, we love who and what you are and for that main reason i am proud to be South African. I love this fruitful land and it loves me back. No matter what shape or size, women are respected and loved by all.
I have adhered to all the instructions above.

To me being Proudly South African is not only about living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world….its a much deeper meaning. To the rest of the world we wear loin cloths, are surrounded by animals and according to the media a “dangerous” country. Let us as woman be examples in our own home by empowering ourselves firstly through education. Allow ourselves to be examples of strength and success so our children have a solid foundation as they are the future, our Olympiads are proof thereof. Congratulations to Chad le Clos and Cameron vd Burgh, they epitomise and live the I AM proudly south african brand!
Claudia Mendes says
