Go Glamour is all about celebrating Health and Beauty with the focus on being the best you can be. It`s not what you wear, it`s how you wear it! Go Glamour will entice you with the latest fashions, professional make-up tips and up to the minute style of what`s hot in London and New York.
The Mother City will be the first to host the Go Glamour Expo and it promises to become South Africa’s premier annual show-case for the glamorous people of South Africa. The expo will showcase designer fashion from CTCFD ( Cape Town College of Fashion Design ), colour cosmetics from NYX, Facial products from Obey Your Body and body treatments from Sorbet, just to name a few.
How exciting – all the things I love under one roof and we can all use a little bit of help when it comes to knowing what to wear and what not to wear!
The Go Glamour Expo will be held on the 3 – 5 August at CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre). Doors open at 10am daily and close at 7pm on Friday and Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. I feel that you owe it to busy moms to only recommend things that you have personally been to. That’s why I read blogs, not advertising websites. I went to the Glam Expo because I read about it here and it was a complete dud. It was basically a tacky indoor market with dodgey clothing stalls and second-rate make-up and jewellery stands. The only proper brand there was Clicks! The ‘mood lighting’ made it too dark to see anything. This stuff loses you credibility.

Thanks for your comment. Just to let you know that I did attend the Expo on Friday, with a friend of mine on holiday from the UK and we were also a bit disappointed in what was on offer. Unfortunately with this event not having taken place in Cape Town previously, I was relying on the information provided to me from by organisers of the event. I am sorry that you did not enjoy it and felt it a waste of time – I will pass on your comment to the organisers of the event, as I think it is important for them to have constructive feedback from people who have attended.
