Even though winter is on our doorstep, it does not deter me from craving sushi. It is one of my favourite foods to eat and I love nothing better than an indulgent night out with sushi and bubbly or a chilled Sauvignon Blanc! With this in mind I thought I would share my Top Sushi Spots in Cape Town and a few recommended by you, my readers.

Willoughby & Co
This is by far my favourite sushi spot and although it is situated inside the V&A shopping centre, the sushi is worth the hustle and bustle of the surroundings. Actually we always do a bit of shopping first and then relax and unwind with the aid of delicious sushi and great wine. To view or download their sushi menu click here.

On a balmy day you can sit out in the cobbled court-yard and enjoy great sushi while sipping on delicious local wine! To view or download their sushi menu click here.

Village Sushi @ De Noordhoek Hotel
Imagine my surprise when a reader recommended a sushi spot right on my doorstep! The Hotel has been around for a while but the sushi is a new addition to their menu. We decided to make this our Mother’s Day lunch venue and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. One of the great aspects of the sushi menu is they offer a 12/20 piece sushi platter, which you can design yourself, this is great if you prefer either a certain type of sushi roll or a particular type of fish. - Cape Town Fish Market
This is a popular choice for us, especially if we are dining with our kids, as the restaurant is really child friendly and they also offer a host of specials daily. The Sushi Bar with its conveyor-belt of tasty treats will leave you hooked. To view or download their sushi menu click here.
