And they very often more supportive and helpful than your blood family! This is especially true in my case. My mother and I differ hugely on this – to her, family is family and should always come first and you should help no matter what. For me, it is the persons actions and words that make them ‘family’ and not their bloodline or marriage. I am blessed with some truly special friends who I believe were sent by God to be part of my life who are always there to support me, love me and my boys and husband, to comfort me, to help when needed and who are generally more present in our lives than many of our family members. You have been one of these special friends for almost 10 years now and I know that no matter what, you will be there. Xxxx
