As most of you may already know, I love anything creative and art is one of my first loves; coming from a rather arty family it has always been a part of my life. When browsing around recently, I came across this truly inspiring artist, Janet Hill, her paintings capture all the things that I love.

Janet lives in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. She first discovered her passion for painting, as a teenager and went on to earn a degree in Fine Art from Queens University, in Kingston Ontario – where she specialised in oil painitng and graduated with honours. Her paintings reflect the beauty of women, interiors and still-life – as I said all the things that I love. There is a definite sense of old- world glamour in her work.
