A recent trip found Grant and I in the heart of the winelands, at the Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch. The university town of Stellenbosch, is surrounded by the picturesque vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. Oak-lined streets and Cape Dutch architecture, give you a true sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history.

Sensational Myoga Lunch Tasting Menu
As I am sure you know by now, the Vineyard Hotel is one of my favourite hotels in Cape Town. It is located in the tree-lined suburb of Newlands and has the most beautifully tranquil gardens!
