Explore Cape Town with Around About Cars
I had a good laugh the other day when a friend, visiting from the UK, commented on how so many Capetonians {me included} feel the need to leave Cape Town in search of that "perfect getaway". I guess to a visitor this must seem crazy, especially as we have almost everything we could possibly want, right on our doorstep. Oude Werf Hotel Stellenbosch
A recent trip found Grant and I in the heart of the winelands, at the Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch. The university town of Stellenbosch, is surrounded by the picturesque vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. Oak-lined streets and Cape Dutch architecture, give you a true sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history.

Hermanus – Discover the Overberg
Hermanus has always been one of our favourite seaside towns! It will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was one of our first romantic getaways as a married couple!
