My eyes are extremely light-sensitive, so wearing Sunglasses is a must for me. I have owned many pairs over the years, from super expensive brands to rather inexpensive ones. Of late other priorities have meant that a new pair of sunnies is quite far down the list. Needless to say, when Slaughter & Fox approached me to try out a pair of their sunglasses, I was not going to turn down the offer!

Winter might be cold and grey at times, but that is no reason to hibernate and hide from the world. It can, in fact, be the best time to explore and travel! Places are less busy and not overrun with people; there is more chance of getting bookings, as well as cheaper rates. Winter in the Cape is fast becoming known as the "Secret Season." A recent trip found Grant and I exploring the Grootbos Secret Season, which runs from May to July.

I have stayed in many fabulous places over the years, but there is one in particular which has been teasing me with beautiful images on social media, and begging for a visit!
