Lamb Rogan Josh Curry
I love cooking and always aim to put a great-tasting, nutritious meal on the table for dinner. Sometimes when I am feeling a bit adventurous, I can be known to whip up a gastronomic midweek-feast. There are also those occasions, after a busy day, that even I have a bit of a “cheat” day. My “cheat meals” are by no means boring or tasteless; they merely involve a few shortcuts. A tasty example is my Lamb Rogan Josh Curry, the perfect winter warmer recipe.

Willoughby & Co
This is by far my favourite sushi spot and although it is situated inside the V&A shopping centre, the sushi is worth the hustle and bustle of the surroundings. Actually we always do a bit of shopping first and then relax and unwind with the aid of delicious sushi and great wine. To view or download their sushi menu click here.

Village Sushi @ De Noordhoek Hotel
Imagine my surprise when a reader recommended a sushi spot right on my doorstep! The Hotel has been around for a while but the sushi is a new addition to their menu. We decided to make this our Mother’s Day lunch venue and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. One of the great aspects of the sushi menu is they offer a 12/20 piece sushi platter, which you can design yourself, this is great if you prefer either a certain type of sushi roll or a particular type of fish.
