My Top 4 Fashion Items

There is definitely a trend, as far as the common shade of colour, that runs through most of my favourite fashion items at the moment, tangerine is big this season and I could not resist adding a bit of tangerine to my own wardrobe!

My Top 4 Fashion Items

It is fun and a bit sassy and I feel wonderful in it!
The shell bracelet I am wearing was a gift from brother and my new sister-in-law for Christmas! I am loving it, it’s great with most colours but works exceptionally well with more earthy tones.
The beautiful geometric print scarf was also a gift, from good friends and it is so pretty and soft. It looks beautiful with white linen trousers and a white T or vest.
My old faithful suede wedges have been out and about quite a bit of late, as well as being super comfy they work well with a skirt, a dress or jeans. The colour is neutral so you can get away with wearing them with just about anything, day or night! Oh and the added bonus is they make my legs look awesome!

Look of the Week – Floral "Party Pants"

My look of the week this week is bang on trend! “Party” pants are very much the trend at the moment and paired with a smart black blazer it gives the whole look a smart – sassy edge. Add a pair of killer heels and you are well on your way to super sexy “street style”.

I am not necessarily convinced that this look is for me but I would be willing to at least give it a try!

Zara To Open In Cape Town

Exciting news! Spanish retailer Zara to open in Cape Town! Zara will open in the V&A Waterfront, in Cape Town! There has been a great deal of speculation as to whether this major international retailer would actually be opening a store, in Cape Town but the good news was announced earlier this month. As I mentioned in a previous post, Zara is one of my favourite stores to shop at, when I visit London – not that I ever need an excuse to shop! I have bought some truly classic items from the UK stores in the past, so I hope that the local store lives up to my expectations.

David Green, CEO of the V&A Waterfront, says this popular, high street fashion brand will be an exciting addition to the already impressive line-up of internationally acclaimed brands in the V&A Waterfront fold. The new Zara store will be located in the Victoria Wharf, in the V&A Waterfront’s main shopping centre. The brand is felt to be a good fit for the Waterfront which is said to be Cape Town’s premier retail and entertainment destination.

So we eagerly await the opening, which is scheduled for later this year. Further details are still to be announced, so I will be sure to keep you undated on any news.

Look of the Week ~ Jessica Alba

I absolutely love this look, it is definitely something I would wear and Jessica Alba makes it look effortless! I love the tailored taupe jacket, simply worn with a pretty blouse and skinny jeans. She rocks those heels as well, I think overall the look is smart and sassy – she does casual with class!

Fashion Friday – Look of the Week

This weeks Fashion Friday look of the week is Emily Blunt and Ewan McGreggor, at the premiere of Salmon Fishing In The Yemen. I love Emily’s black and white, 60’s inspired swing dress, the pattern and style are particularly flattering for her and her hair looks amazing! Ewan looks über handsome, I love his structured black jacket, contrasted well by the very trendy checked grey trousers he is wearing – I think he looks rather gorgeous!
